1 SCOPE.

This specification covers the requirements for 30 minutes at 163 C. thermosetting, sandable, high solids, solvent-borne spotting surfacer that is applied by spraying and is subsequently topcoated with high solids acrylic enamel topcoats. The spotting surfacer is intended for wet-on-wet use over high solids piimer surfacers where metal imperfections require a heavy, easily sanded, Slling material. The spotting surfacer may also serve as a guide coat to warn against excessive sanding when the primer surfacer has been reached. These coated surfaces have additional requirements set forth in the specifications for subsequent coatings.
