1 SCOPE.
This Specification covers the requirements for a sprayable or wipe-on highlighting fluid that is used to reveal surba defects in the sheet metal that needs refinishing prior to phosphate in the body shop. These materials may bc applied on a fully or partially assembled automobile or truck body prior to paint processing at either low pressure or by wipe-on to provide the highlighting on a body-in-white.
