1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the requirements for the typical 25 minutes @ 121°C metal temperature bake, thermosetting, sandable, high solids, solvent-borne primer surfacer. It is applied by spraying and may be subsequently topcoated with acrylic enamel or waterborne color coat. The primer surfacer is intended to provide a smooth, adhesion promoting coating over previously applied primers such as cathodic E-coat. These coated surfaces have additional requirements set forth in the specifications for subsequent coatings.
