1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the requirements for a leading edge chip resistant primer used as augmentation to primer surfacer. It is intended for use on leading edges of the body, such as the hood or roof to provide enhanced protection against chipping. This chip resistant primer is intended to be applied over cathodic E-coat It is subsequently coated with primer surfacer, typically in a wet-on-wet application.
