This specification details the requirements of a modable rigid paint system applied¿ to thermoplastic olefin carrier fihns (called painted facesheets). These painted facesheets are then processed into exterior small parts via a 2 step process. The first step is thermoforming the painted facesheet into a painted insert. The painted insert is then placed into the female half of a mold and plastic is injection molded behind it to form a painted part.
