1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the requirements for a low bake, thermosetting, chip resistant primer applied by spraying. This materiaI is intended to provide a smooth chip and corrosion resistant coating, for steel or composite substrates, when applied over previously applied primer such as cathodic electrocoat. It is intended to protect lower body composite or metal surfaces that are subjected to severe gravel impact and also perform as a blackout material without subsequent topcoating.
