This specification details the requirements of an extruded, pressure sensitive sealing material. The material is intended to seal body joints against water, dust and air intrusion. This material can be used by itself as a sealer or act as a bonding medium for other parts which affect seals.
The material must be a smooth and homogeneous mixture free of air, lumps, unmixed particles and foreign materials.
The material can be used on various substrates including plastic, E-Coat, and topcoat surfaces. It must have good weatherability and must not accelerate the rusting of the substrate over which it is applied.

Type B: Vertical or Horizontal Applications (supercedes 9984208, FBMS 9-44)
Type C: Stud Sealing Applications
