1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the requirements of base coat/clearcoat end of line reprocess systems that cure by air drying or force drying @ 88°C or less and are defined as low bake. They are designed to re-process OEM basecoat/ clearcoat systems but are of different formulations and/or chemistries than OEM products to be re-processed. These products are high performance materials that offer improved overall durability compared to acid catalyzed melamine systems.
