This specification covers the requirements for sealant final rinse materials, either chromium containing or chromium-free, for zinc phosphate coatings applied to bare metal substrates. These sealants are only intended to be used in conjunction with a specifically approved zinc phosphate system (9984090 and 9984123) from the same supplier.
