1 SCOPE.

This specification details the requirements of a paintable underbody coating/sealer. The material is applied in the paint shop after ELPO bake and must be capable of being either manually or robotically applied. This material is used to coat the underbody and must provide a high level of abrasion resistance. In addition the material may be used to seal interior and exterior body joints against water, dust, air intrusion and corrosion. The material must be compatible with primer surfacer and topcoat systems.
