1 Scope

This specification details the requirements of air dry sprayable sound damper. The purpose of this material is to reduce noise vibrations from the engine, tires, transmission and stone impingement. 1.1 Material Description. The material must adhere to all production paint layers including electrocoat, primer, base coat and clearcoat. The material may be applied by airless spray. The material must be a smooth and homogeneous mixture that contains no lumps, excess air, unmixed particles or foreign materials.
