1 SCOPE.
A grease consisting of a uniform blend of highly refined mineral oil and a calcium complex soap of approximately NLGI No. 1 consistency suitable for use as chassis lubricant. 1.1 GENERAL. It shall bc capable of performing its function for at least 10 000 km or 6 mo (whichever comes fit) of operation without objectionable friction buildup, squeak or decomposition. It shall be free of materials that would cause wear or corrosion of metal parts and shall not show separation in storage.
