1 SCOPE.
An anaerobic, dimethylacrylate polyester resin base liquid compound that solidifies by polymerization (not by solvent evaporization) into a tough plastic when confined between closely fitted metal surfaces, producing an effective seal against leakage and medium shear strength resistance to loosening. For max properties parts must be cleaned. This material is intended for locking and sealing fasteners and studs having large clearance or over 25 mm dia for fluid pressure resistance or to prevent loosening under a shock and vibration or a combination of both.
