A pressure sensitive adhesive tape with a high tensile strength glass yarn filament backing, high tack and adhesion, low elongation, ability to strip cleanly and available in various colors as shown in Section 3.1. Tape may be either plastic film or crepe paper.
GENERAL.
Material shall require no moisture, heat or other preparation prior to or after application to clean, dry surfaces. Shall not stain, etch or sotten plastics or paints used in automotive applications. Shall remain pliable and tacky when exposed to temperature, moisture and sunlight conditions encountered in automotive applications.
