1 SCOPE.
An anaerobic sealing compound based on dimethylaaylate ester liquid resin which cures by polymerization into a tough thermoset plastic when closely confined between fitted rubber/metal surfaces. This sealing compound is primarily designed for sealing joints in fuel vapor lines (rubber hose to metal tube). In general, the material is intended to provide an effective seal against leakage and shear strength resistance to loosening when used in assembly of slip-fit and press-fit parts under normal automotive assembly conditions.
