1 SCOPE.

An anaerobic dimethylacrylate polyester resin base liquid compound that solidifies by polymerization (not by solvent evaporation) into a tough plastic whenconfined between closely fitted metal surfaces, producing an effective seal against leakage and mild shear strength resistance to loosening. This material maybe used on slightly oiled cadmium plated,zinc plated and black oxide parts or phosphate and oil coated parts and still obtain satisfactory properties. For maximum properties parts must be cleaned. This material is intended for sealing fasteners, studs and hydraulic or pneumatic pipe threads and fittings for fluid pressure resistance. May be used for sealing flanges.
