An anaerobic dimethauylate ester resin base liquid compound that solidifies by polymerization (not by solvent evaporization) into a tough thermoset plastic when combined between closely fitted metal surfaces, producing an effective seal against leakage and low shear strength resistance to loosening. This material may be used on oil coated parts and still obtain satisfactory properties. For maximum properties, parts must be cleaned This material is intended for locking and sealing fasteners for fluid pressure or a combination of both. It may also be used for sealing on hydraulic, pneumatic, or pipe threaded fittings. This is considered a relatively low strength thread-locking material.
