1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the requirements of a thermoplastic, sprayable, weldable corrosion preventive material for use in automotive sheet. metal components. The material is suitable for application to oily steel by means of elevated tempetature spray. Preheating of the substrates is not rquired. The material can be spot welded immediately after application or as long as three months after application. A spot welding shunt such as a panel location clamp is required for welding. The material is readily removed with a petroleum solvent, if rquired.
