1 SCOPE.
This specification covers an expandable thumb grade plastisol type of sealer for use in sealing body joints under exposed high solids enamel paint finish surfaces. The sealer must adhere to phosphatized steel, primed and ELPO surfaces. The material shall be a vinyl plastisol sealer, in bulk and/or extruded forms, that will fuse into a tough resilient material which is completely compatible with GM Corporate enamel paint systems. Extruded material shall part cleanly from its carrier paper and must not be affected by solvents used for feathering purposes.
