1 SCOPE.
This specification covers an extruded type sealer which will expand and cure under low temperature oven heats and thereby effect a water, air and dustproof seal. The material is a high solids compound with a minimum amount of surface tack in handling but sufficient adhesion to SMC, and oily or primed galvanized metal before curing. If an antiblocking coating is used for acceptable storage properties, this coating must in no way adversely affect adhesion characteristics of the extruded sealer. Extruded material shall part cleanly from release paper on which it is furnished.
