1 SCOPE.

This specification covers the basic rquirements for a thermoplastic corrosion preventive compound for application to underbody and chassis components. The corrosion preventive compound is for assembly plant application over warm (38 to 48 C) metal surfaces by elevated temperature spray (150 to 163 C). The material is applied to a film thickness of 150 um for low abrasion applications and 300 um for high abrasion applications. The coating shall contain no solvents, no asbestos and shall be non toxic and non injurious to plant personal.
