1 SCOPE.

This specification covers a sealer that will expand and cure during paint oven bake cycle thereby affecting a water and dust-proof seal. This material must be submitted in extruded or die cut form and if an anti-blocking coating is used for storage properties, this coating must in no way adversely effect adhesive characteristics of the sealer. Material must part cleanly from paper on which it is furnished. The material, after heat expansion and cure, shall be tough, flexible, and have good adhesion to oily galvanized or cold-rolled steel surfaces.
