This product is intended primarily for removing lubricating oils and other debris from engine parts prior to installing room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone rubber for formed-in-place gaskets.

General.

This material is composed of trichlorotrifluoroethane. It has a very low surface tension, enabling it to wet surfaces and get between soils and the surfaces of parts on which they are deposited, thus assisting in removal of the soil. It is selective in its cleaning action because it will dissolve or flush away the contaminants on the article and yet will not attack metals, plastics or elastomers.
