1 SCOPE
This specification details the requirements for a heat formable and bondable damping material the damping sheet consists of two layers. The top layer consists of asphalt and filler. The bottom layer consists of olefin polymer. The bottom layer bonds to primed or top coated substrates during paint processing oven bake cycles. Depending on the specific paint bake cycles a heat activated adhesive may be required which would allow the laminate to bond at lower temperatures.
