1 SCOPE.

An engine lubricant particularly suitable for initial factory-fill of passenger cars and gasoline-fueled, light duty trucks. Engine oils conforming to letter designation SG, as described in SAE Technical Report J183 MAR88, are required for use in 4-cycle diesel engines and gasoline engines. The oil must also meet the requirements of MIL-L-46152D and be on the Federal Qualified Products List (QPL). In addition, an oil of the same viscosity grade and quality level must be marketed by the oil company requesting approval.
