This specification covers a pressure sensitive tape consisting of an aluminum foil coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive. The tape is supplied with a release liner to protect the adhesive. The tape may also be supplied self-wound. The tape is used as a heat shield, in certain sealing applications, and to adhere light weight heat shield materials.
Material shah require no heat or other preparation prior to or after application to clean, dry surfaces. It shall not stain, etch, or soften plastics or paints used in automotive applications.
