1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the resin component, one part of a 2 part, air dry, solventbome, room temperature curing epoxy based metal adhesion promoter. This adhesion promoter is applied by brushing and after curing is used to bond structural adhesives to metal substrates where the original ELPO surface has been damaged but the pretreated surface remains largely intact. This system must be capable of room temperature cure only as well as not being adversely affected by paint oven temperatures leaching 135¿C
