1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the hardener component, one part of a two-part, air dry, solvent borne, room temperature curing epoxy based laetal adhesion promoter. This adhesion promoter is applied by brushing and after curing is used to bond structural adhesives to metal substrates where the original ELPG surface has been damaged but the pretreated surface remains hugely intact. This system must be capable of room temperature cure only as well as not being adversely affected by paint oven temperatures reaching 135¿C.
