Material Description.
This specification describes a pumpable, expandable, elastomeric adhesive that will expand and cure during the Electrodeposition Paint Operation (ELPO) bake cycle thereby contributing structural strength. It can be used as a hem-flange and high strength anti-flutter adhesive.

Applicability.
The material shall be capable of being dispensed through standard pumping equipment, provide good adhesion to oily galvanized steel and be compatible with production phosphating and ELPO paint systems. The materials approved to this specification shall be capable of withstanding paint oven temperatures up to 196 °C without degradation of performance.
