1 SCOPE.

An engine lubricant particularly suitable for extreme high engine oil temperature operation of passenger cars and gasoline-fueled, light-duty trucks. Engine oils conforming to letter designations ILSAC GF-1 and SG/CD, as described in International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee Minimum Performance Standard for Passenger Car Engine Oils and SAE Technical Report J183, respectively, are required for use in gasoline engines. The oil must also meet the requirements of MIL-L-46152E and be on the Federal Qualified Products List (QPL). In addition, an oil of the same viscosity grade and quality level must be marketed by the oil company requesting approval.
