1.1 Material Description. This specification covers low sulfur number one diesel fuel. 1.1.1 Material Identification. Not applicable. 1.2 Cross-Reference of Replaced Specifications. Subparagraphs were not applicable. 1.3 Symbol. Not applicable. 1.4 Typical Application. This diesel fuel is intended primarily for factory-fill use. Factory-fill fuel is intended for use in vehicles which are stored for extended periods of time or in storage tanks where the rate of turn-over is low. This reduced sulfur formulation will protect certain emissions related components if present.
