Typical Applications. The lubricant defined herein is intended to be used as a camshaft and lifter lubricant prior to engine assembly. This lubricant is not intended to be used as an additive or top-treat to engine oil.
Remarks. This material was originally supplied by the Lubrizol Corporation and is commonly referred to as "Lubrizol". It is no longer supplied by Lubrizol. The previous specification was 9780631.
This material contains a high concentration of phosphorus which is a known poison for catalysts. Therefore it should be used sparingly and only on surfaces where high pressure rubbing occurs.
