Material Description.
This specification describes a High Performance Continuously Variable Transmission Fluid (HP CVTF) which is an enhanced, specially formulated, full synthetic Poly Alpha Olefin (PAO) with Petro Canada base oil Continuously Variable Transmission Fluid (CVTF). This CVTF exhibits improved fuel efficiency, lower temperature operation, and improved thermal stability in vehicles. This CVTF is used as initial fill and top-off fill, satisfying GMW17238.
This HP CVTF has a better and more stable steel on steel friction characteristics and is a modified formulation of 9986443.
