As received from suppliers, a viscoelastic, thermally expanable material stamped between sheet metal constraining layers is to be installed Lt the trod; prior to ELPO, As the body passes through the paint cure processes, the viscoelastic material expands, filling the design jap to provide a constrained-layer damping system.
