This specification covers two types of nitric acid as used for aluminum bright dip and other chemical processes. Type A is a higher purity product from the standpoint of oxides of nitrogen which have been found advantageous for some processes.
Either type may be furnished if Type A or Type B is not indicated (e.g. GM1761M, Type A) by individual purchaser.
