1 SCOPE.
This specification covers a general flux for use where corrosion is not a factor and where parts may be cleaned after soldering. This flux will dissolve surface oxides, but grease and oil must be otherwise removed. The glycerine is added to reduce fumes and spattering; however, if these are not a consideration, purchaser may specify that the glycerine may be omitted.
