This scification describes an adhesive coated plasic film which is used for temporay protecon of carpcting or trim puncls.

The material is a thin, transparent, uncoloured, flexible film or other impervious construction coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive and supplied in roll form or in stacked dies cut sheet, with or without a release liner. The material must be of uniform thickenss, free form pin holes and tears, and be nonstaining. Any required printing on the surface of the film must also be nonstraining to trim and must be permanent for the service life of the film. Any seams in the material or parts made of the material must be water right And as strong as the base film. The film must demonstrate satisfactory performance of installation, protection and removal on the intended trim.
