1 Scope
This specification covers the requirements of door and quarter trim panel assemblies. These assem blies typically consist of a cover material bonded to a substrate, armrests, assist handles, escutch eons, switches and switch plates, warning and courtesy lights, map pockets, audio components, wiring harnesses, retainers, sound absorber mate rials, and form or riser materials. Some compo nents of door trim panels may be required to meet GM7451M.
Note: In instances where test requirements are repeated duplicate testing is not required.
