1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the properties of a material suitable for sunshades or for trimming automotive door or quarter panels. The material shall consist of a synthetic resin (vinyl) compounded and plasticized so as to be both flexible and free from tackiness, firmly adhered to a rubber impregnated paper base. The paper base material shall be a Buna N impregnated paper stock.
