1 Scope

This specification describes the material and performance requirements for tapes with a foamed carrier coated on both sides with an adhesive which is com-monly, but not restricted to, the pressure sensitive type. This system is to be used primarily for the at-tachment of exterior trim products such as moldings, nameplates and emblems. The adhesive surface, unless otherwise specified, shall be protected with a polyethylene liner.
