1 SCOPE.
This specification covers the practical considerations and procedures involved in water immersion testing. The test is particularly applicable to the evaluation of adhesion and blister characteristics of organic coatings on any base. This test shall not be used as a substitute for humidity test. The subsequent teats after water immersion shall be specified in the materials specification.
