1 Scope

This specification covers the laboratory test require-ments for GM Approved Paint on Parts (APOPS), PPAP approval, processing conditions and routine quality control for exterior plastic painted automobile components. This specification applies only to substrate and paint related materials that have been qualified and ap-proved to the appropriate GMP.XX.XXX, GMXXXXM, and 998XXXX specifications.
