This specification covers two types of hydrochloric acid (sometimes called muriatic acid) as used in plating and other chemical processes. Type A is a higher purity product from the standpoint of arsenic, chlorine and other organic matter, particularly suitable for bright plating.
Either type may be furnished if Type A or Type B is not indicated (e.g. GM6018M, Type A) by individual purchaser.
