1 SCOPE.

This standard defines the performance nquirements of hot stamped roll leaf applied to painted or unpainted parts. Five classes of performance are established to cover the different requirements of first surface and second surface applications on interior or exterior parts. This standard can also be used to specify the requirerments of bulk quantities of roll leaf if the substrate and application procedures to be used are adquately defined.
