1 SCOPE.
This specification (NOTE) prescribes the requirements for aluminum coated cold rolled, low carbon steel sheet which has been coated with an aluminum silicon alloy by the hot dip process. This alloy has 5 to 11% silicon to achieve optimum adherence to base metal. The sheet is intended principally for applications where heat and or corrosion resistance are required.
