This specification covers the basic requirements for a combined organic and inorganic coating which is produced in a process consisting of electrolytic zinc or cadmium plating, chromate dip, organic coating and oven bake. At the applicator's option the chromate dip may be omitted, provided all other requirements of this specification are met.
