1 SCOPE.
This specification covers requirements for a corrosion preventive finish applied to steel used for drain hole plugs. The base finish may consist of either a hot dipped galvanize or electro-deposited zinc plating, followed by a zinc phosphate-type treatment. An approved corrosion resistant topcoat primer is applied over the phosphate treated surface.
