1 SCOPE.
This is a raw material specification that prescribes the requirements for aluminum coated stainless steel sheet which has been coated on both sides by a hot dip process. The base metal is a ferritic grade of stainless steel. The aluminum coated stainless steel sheet metal is intended principally for applications where heat and/or corrosion resistance are required, particularly for exhaust pipes and heat shields.
