This specification covers the requirements for a sheet-form heat bondable vibration damping material. It is intended for use on horizontal surfaces such as the floor pan. The vibration damping performance of these materials generally decreases at elevated temperature, therefore, it is most suitable for surfaces not exceeding 50°C operating temperature.
