1 SCOPE.
This specification covers requirements for a weldable chromate-zinc dust complex/zinc-rich primer coating system on galvanized steel sheets in coils and cut lengths. It is applied to electroplated zinc or hot dipped galvanized steel by a coil coating process on one or both sides. This primer coating system is not intended for Class 1 surfaces. For one side primed product the opposite surface can be used for exposed applications.
